Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 August 2026
These Terms govern your use of PromoPrint (the mobile application and the cloud service at printapp.marsai.co.uk), provided by Mars AI Technology Solutions (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
PromoPrint helps retailers design and print shelf price labels, manage a product catalogue, and sync data to our multi-tenant cloud API. Features may depend on your subscription plan.
2. Accounts & organisations
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and your organisation (tenant).
- You must be authorised to act for the business whose data you upload.
3. Subscriptions & billing
- Paid plans for the mobile app are sold through Google Play and/or the Apple App Store. Their billing terms apply to charges, renewals, and cancellations.
- We verify purchases with the store before unlocking paid entitlements.
- Free or limited tiers may restrict daily prints or other features; limits are described in the app.
- Refunds are handled according to the relevant app store’s policies unless mandatory local law says otherwise.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse the API, attempt to bypass tenant isolation, or probe other organisations’ data.
- Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
- Reverse engineer the service except where permitted by law.
- Resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of product data, templates, and branding you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to provide PromoPrint to you and your organisation.
6. Intellectual property
The PromoPrint software, system templates, and branding are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of our IP to you.
7. Hardware & third parties
Printing depends on your Bluetooth thermal printer and device permissions. We are not responsible for third-party hardware, OS changes, or store outages that prevent printing or purchases.
8. Availability & changes
We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify features, plans, or these Terms; continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of material updates where permitted by law.
9. Disclaimer & liability
The service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or data loss, except where liability cannot be limited (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim (or, for store-billed plans, the amounts attributable to that period under the store).
10. Termination
You may stop using the app and request account closure at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the service. Store subscription cancellation follows the store’s process.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.
